the corral

finally! after two years of bike piles and no floor space we have a proper bike wall! thank you colin! still a small pile in the basement BUT its so much more accessible now.

here is a photo of my basement summer 2009. some of these stallions are around, some not so much, some mixed and some matched, but for the most part this is what things look like. thank god we have the bike wall now.

this newest addition is pretty much the only thing i ride since my schwinn world got crunched in a car accident. raleigh rush hour "ruby" due to all her flashin ruby bits. this is the only bike i have ever owned new and i paid half of what its worth. factoria craigslist suckers are fools.

not pictured: my schwinn tempo rebuilt back to a road bike, my bmx cruiser complete with am/fm radio, and my fuji thrill polo machine. photos and descriptions coming soon.

THE BIKE NECROPOLIS

DOD: 02/21/2010
i miss my schwinn world and her comfort for riding long distances and how she was more then well equipped for seattle's unpredictable weather. she was mauled by a motorist which cut us off, bending the front wheel, fork and frame. luckily the unscathed components can be salvaged for my schwinn tempo, which in reality is a much better frame, but the tempo is most certainly not as ladylike as she. i hope that one day i can spend the time to bend the frame back and make a nice free wheel summer day basket bike out of her. one day.
